(TEACHER TESS leads the kids to their bedrooms upstairs while CRAZY DAVIE helps with the luggage. DAVIE then waves goodbye, returns to the VW Bus, and drives off, while the KIDS get tucked into their beds upstairs.)

But now turn out the light

(No sooner do the kids put out their lights than we see the silhouette of BUBSY BEALS dancing maniacally to a heavy metal beat that gets gradually louder. Then just before he sings BUBSY jumps Downstage and is suddenly bathed in red light. As he sings CRAFTY FOXX looks on sycophantically, aiming a spotlight at him.)
